My concerns for this Wintour

Anna Wintour
My concerns for this Wintour

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF I have always admired Anna Wintour for here decisiveness. If she were a man, here assertiveness would be seen as strength and not something else. But based on the frequency and accuracy or her sometimes demanding and uncompromising approaches, one begins to wonder. Are the accusations of being a narcissistic ice queen befitting? She is undeniably proficient at what she does. But, does that give forbiddance for her acerbic attitude? I would work for her. Vogue is about a passion and affinity for fashion not a devotion to a particular person. Smile in admiration for a person’s vision. Return to your own life in the presence of their indifferences. Not enough time is spent devoting to things we enjoy moreover being concerned with the compromising issues of people we don’t know. Enjoy your life, and stay warm!

TO BE, OR NOT TO BE

The livelihood of most of the inhabitants on the North American continent from a broad prospective is that, most of us live a middle class lifestyle, without regard to the recession, being just barely comfortable only shadowing security. But this is from the vantage point of individuals with college degrees. Being in your mid-twenties and acquiring a shaky collegiate profile, just enough courses to spark a future, however still short of a B.A., which amounts to nothing, this was I. Should my character, desire for culture and fashion dwindle because of a slight economic deficiency and apparel accessibility? This is the question. My forecast could seem a bit gloom; moreover, dandyism is a ritual or assurance for most lads. I arrived in New York with just more than lent in my pocket. To me a crisp button down and a tailored coat signify stability and comfort in an uncertain era, paired with fitted jeans mimics strength and functionality. Comfort, strength and function, three essential that most guys could agree they need in a city as vast and alive as New York. Aid your self with a sneaker or wingtips depending on the power you need to fuel you through the day, and for touch of individual panache a pocket square or shard. “It’s of the utmost importance that we preserve this Extraordinary magic bubble and most certainly not let this stressful crisis impinge upon dreams and imagination.” –Kris Van Assche. Often times the male entity is condition to venture and prosper even so when he is not yet ready. So this is where the sartorial culture comes into view to console him, eluding chaos and ambivalence but insuring structure and balance to a young vision. Do you choose to maintain a lifestyle that is conducive and nurturing to self and even required for your sanity? The answer is absolutely, but how?

My dear Lad, for years luve the vintage community has been catering to the simple yet custom fit palate that sartorial-ist/ vintage fashionisto’s acquire. Now the couturiers dominate the vintage fit but some stores such as housing works, Thrift stores and even custom Vintage stores now retreat fabrics to preserve the age of the cloth. Look for classic pieces and brands that is synonymous with durability and craftsmanship. Keep in mind that only pieces that can be salvaged and have life in them should be assumed. Tailoring and dry cleaning can easily extend the term you keep them.

Window-shopping weekly not sporadically increases your accessibility to different pieces that may be available at a more convenient wage. New interpretations of your favorite style genre may be seen that better fits your personality and lifestyle. This is solely and apologetically about what suits you. Sample sales have great finding at a slightly elevated outlay but the textiles, shoes and bags are chic and unique. You should not be afraid to spend currency in exchange for quality. If the piece is going to endure or last a decade or two it is worth the purchase and can be made a necessity. But always be realistic with your wallet.
